How Rivo Selects Strategies

Rivo doesn’t list every DeFi strategy available—instead, we carefully select strategies that offer high potential returns with managed risk. This ensures safe, profitable, and reliable investment opportunities for users. Here’s how strategy selection works.

Expert Curation vs. Fully Open Strategies

Some platforms list every possible strategy, whether it’s good or bad. Rivo takes a curated approach, meaning we manually review and vet strategies before adding them.

Why?

• Not all strategies are safe → Some protocols have security risks or poor liquidity.

• We filter out scams & high-risk investments → Protecting users from bad experiences.

• We select strategies with proven returns → Ensuring you get the best options available.

What this means for you:

• You don’t have to research everything yourself—we do the hard work for you!

• You can invest confidently, knowing the strategies are vetted by experts.

Why Some Strategies Are Included and Others Are Not

We evaluate each strategy based on four key factors:

1. Security & Trust

• Is the strategy built on a reputable DeFi protocol (e.g., Aave, Morpho, Pendle)?

• Has the protocol been audited for security?

• Are smart contracts safe, or is there a history of hacks?

2. Liquidity & Withdrawals

• Can you withdraw funds anytime, or are they locked for months?

• Does the strategy have enough TVL (Total Value Locked) to be reliable?

3. Returns (APY) & Risk

• Is the APY sustainable, or will it drop suddenly?

• Does the strategy offer a good balance of risk vs. reward?

• What happens if the market crashes—are funds protected?

4. Innovation & Uniqueness

• Does this strategy offer something valuable that’s hard to find elsewhere?

• Will this help users earn passive income easily?

If a strategy is too risky, illiquid, or unproven, we leave it out to protect users.
